Q: How does your process work?
A: Every project is different, but they all follow a similar workflow. I first have to find out what your wants and needs are. After we establish the scope of the work, I go through the research process, initial conceptions, digital drafts, and necessary revisions until the project is complete.
Q: How do you charge for your services?
A: I have a selection of service packages to choose from. I ask for an initial investment of 50% up front, 25% when the project is nearly complete, and the remaining 25% for the final deliverables.
Q: Do I own the artwork after I pay for it?
A: Yes, after you pay, your logo and final design collateral become yours. You own the final deliverables, however any rejected artwork or initial concepts created during the process will continue to belong to the designer.
Q: How do I get my files when we’re done?
A: Depending on what works for you, your files may be delivered via CD or USB, email, or other method such as Google Drive or Drop Box.
Q: What if I lose my files?
A: Should anything happen to your files, we will keep a copy of your files for at least a year and we will happily resend whatever it is you need.
Q: How much am I involved during the process?
A: I believe open communication is key and we are in touch every step of the way. I ask my clients to compile any visual inspiration they like (usually through Pinterest) so I can better understand your aesthetic and what you’re looking for. At any point, if there’s something you don’t like, we’ll work together to make it right so your vision can become a reality.
Q: How long will it take to finish my project?
A: It depends on the project, but typically between 3-7 weeks. I prefer to overestimate how much time something will take in order to anticipate any potential problems or delays. Rush jobs are an option depending on availability and will incur additional expense.
